Whistle Stop Auction Company is located downtown Pikeville, NC. Each and every Friday night, unless otherwise stated, auctioneer Tony Baker hosts an auction.  Auction house opens at 5pm for viewing on Fridays and starts at 6:45pm. Whistle Stop also has a fully functional concessions' stand and they serve Brightleaf hotdogs, homemade chili, and other items. Perfect for a night out of the house or if you're passing through. Items for sale are on his Facebook page and his website, take a look and head on out.

Center Street Jam is in downtown Goldsboro, but for a free concert and enjoying some time with family and friends, its worth the 15/20 minute drive. These concert series begin May 3, 2018 at 6pm and continue happening every other Thursday afternoon until August 23, 2018. Head out and enjoy some free music, shop downtown, and grab a bite to eat.

Pikeville Library: Supercharged Story Time- (singing, dancing, crafts, reading and learning!) Please register. -- Thursdays at 10:30 am (preschool and above)

Sprinkler Fun Days    Thursdays now through August 16th- Beat the heat this summer at Sprinkler Fun Days downtown at Cornerstone Commons. From 3-4 p.m. each Thursday the City's giant water sprinkler will be set up for all to enjoy. Supervised by Goldsboro Fire Department. Sponsored by The Bridge Church. 919.735.4959 ∙ 

Church Alive. Every 5th Sunday Church Alive of Pikeville serves a meal to the needy and the homeless at Dees Memorial Park. If you or anyone you know needs this assistance, please send them out for a hot meal.
