The Town of Pikeville is currently seeking applications from qualified candidates for the position of Town Clerk. Responsibilities include: (a) Act as a secretary to the Board; (b) Keep a true record of all the proceedings of the Board; (c) Attend all meetings of the Board ; (d) Act as a custodian for all books, papers, records and journals for the town ; (e) Must have knowledge and experience in governmental accounting, reporting and budgeting; (f) performing such other duties that may be required or authorized by the town administrator and/or the Board. Successful candidates must possess a strong background in governmental finance as well as proven skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Publisher, Quickbooks Accounting, Logics and Zoom and/or Skype.
