The Pikeville Library, a branch of the Wayne County Public Library system, offers patrons a diverse collection of over 7,500 books, DVDs, magazines, books on CD, and much more.  Anyone living in Wayne County, owning property or a business in Wayne County, or attending school or teaching in Wayne County is eligible for a library card at no charge (proof of residency and a picture ID are required).

The library’s website offers a portal to a wide variety of information through our website at www.wcpl.org , including online databases that include information on jobs and career, local interest, legal and medical information.

Throughout the year from September to May we have Story Hour on Thursdays from 10:30 to 11:30 (please call to register for this program).  Each summer we provide a children’s Summer Reading Program from June through July.

The library provides seven computers for public Internet access with color and black & white printers offered.  If you’re not comfortable using a computer or need help in learning how to use one, a Book-a-Librarian service is provided by appointment.
