Ongoing Events

Whistle Stop Auction Company is located downtown Pikeville, NC. Auctions are held every Friday evening unless otherwise stated.

  • Doors open at 5:00 p.m. for viewing
  • Auction begins at 6:45 p.m.
  • A full concession stand is available, serving Brightleaf hot dogs, homeade chili, and other food items.

Items for sale are posted on Whistle Stop Auction Company's Facebook page here. This is a popular local event and a great wat to enjoy a Friday evening in Pikeville.

Town Board Meeting Reminder

Ends: 4/13/2026 - Until all business is complete

Our Town Board Meetings are held on the second Monday of every month.  The meetings begin at 6pm and are held at the Town Hall.  The public is welcome to attend.

Public Hearing - Amended Ordinances

Begins: 3/9/2026
Ends: 3/10/2026

A Public Hearing has been called for Monday, March 9th beginning at 6pm at Town Hall.  The subject of the ordinances is RV/Boat parking and storage; Oversized Vehicles/Trucks on Residential Streets; Oversized Vehicles/Trucks Parked in Residential Areas; and Street Parking within Town.  The public is welcome to speak.  A board vote is scheduled to follow the public hearing.
