Vehicle Lockouts

The Pikeville Police Department provides a free vehicle unlock service for its citizens and visitors. Prior to an officer unlocking the vehicle, requesters are required to sign a waiver which releases the department from any damages that may occur to the vehicle in the course of performing the unlock service.

Every patrol vehicle is assigned a vehicle unlock kit to ensure a kit is available for a motorist in a time of need. If you find yourself in need of a vehicle unlock service contact the non-emergency number to have an officer dispatched to your location.
