The Town of Pikeville Board of Commissioners act as the legislative branch of our government, as well as its policy-making body. The Board looks to our community's goals, major projects and infrastructure improvements ranging from community growth to land use to finances and strategic planning. The Board's goal is to do the very best to represent their constituents after they've seen to the needs of the community as a whole. The Board of Commissioners are elected to alternating (4) year terms of appointment on a biannually schedule. Board of Commissioners MUST live within the Town Limits to be considered for candidacy. Interested residents of the community should inquire about elected office with the Wayne County Board of Elections.

The next local election is November 2027.
