Board Appoints Former Commissioner Thomas to Vacant Seat

On Monday, March 9th, the Board of Commissioners appointed a familiar face, Mr. Matt Thomas, to fill the recently vacated commissioner seat. At the February meeting, it was announced the board would be accepting applications for candidates prior to the March 2nd deadline. The board voted unanimously to appoint Mr. Thomas to the seat which he has agreed to fill until the next election cycle in November 2027. We welcome Commissioner Thomas back and look forward to his continued leadership and financial insight as the town continues to grow and prosper in the coming years.
